Leroy

Domaine Leroy has become one of the most impressive and vaunted properties in Burgundy. Lalou Bize-Leroy started out as a négociant, working for her family’s Maison Leroy based in Auxey-Duresses, which was founded by her father, Henri. In 1988 she created Domaine Leroy by purchasing the estates of Charles Nöellat in Vosne-Romanée and Philippe-Rémy in Gevrey-Chambertin. In total, Domaine Leroy now has 21 hectares. Applying biodynamic cultivation on all the vineyards since the beginning, it is now certified by ECOCERT. Today, Lalou is the force behind three domaines: Maison Leroy, Domaine Leroy and Domaine d’Auvenay.
