A restrained but clearly ripe and densely fruited nose of excellent complexity offers up aromas of pear, green apple and stone where the latter element continues onto the concentrated, serious and gorgeously textured broad-shouldered flavors that possess outstanding length on the powerful and explosive finish. This saline-inflected wine is an opulent but well balanced example of the appellation.
